You will be asked to assess your level of understanding or competency in a variety of areas.

Having submitted your Self-Assessment, you will receive Milcom's evaluation by return email. This will give you an indication of the qualifications you may be entitled to should you complete the full RPL process.

You have the option to delete your records at any time prior to submitting your Self-Assessment or after the evaluation. Only you have access to your personal database and information. See Privacy & Security section.

The Self-Assessment guides you through a series of industry fields and competency selections.

Having completed the Self-Assessment the system will automatically list your selected competencies as either 'subject to validation', 'non-endorsed' or 'endorsed'.

Competencies in the subject to validation category are those that you have gained by undertaking either vendor training or tertiary studies. To have these competencies endorsed, they must be validated by providing a certified copy of your vendor certificate or university or technical college qualifications and transcript of studies. The validation process attracts no charge.

Competencies in the non-endorsed category are those you have assessed yourself as being competent. To have them endorsed, you need to proceed with the Recognition of Prior Learning process.
